LEADRS was created by the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) to address a major issue that Texas administrators began to notice in 2001.  DUI/DWI crimes were on the rise, but enforcement of those crimes was not.  The main reason: DUI/DWI paperwork took an alarming amount of time to complete, and officers were opting to pursue other resolutions for DUI/DWI violations.

TMPA conducted a series of focus groups with a diverse panel of peace officers and prosecutors to discuss and find a solution to the lengthy DUI/DWI arrest process.   Their solution was to develop a customizable, Web-based reporting system that made it easier and more efficient for officers to complete DUI/DWI paperwork.  The result was LEADRS.

LEADRS has been implemented successfully for more than 400 law enforcement departments and state-wide in Texas, Arizona, Georgia and Oklahoma.  We look forward to working with you to get LEADRS in your state.
